House Rules

Dear Guests,


We strive to do everything in our power to ensure your stay is pleasant and hassle-free. For this reason, we kindly ask you to read and comply with the following guidelines.


Owners and Operators of Bakonyi Kiscsillag Guesthouse are: Zsuzsanna Nyiri and Tamás Sági

1. Check-in and Check-out Information

Apartments are available from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you wish to arrive earlier, please notify us in advance by email or phone. On the day of departure, guests must vacate the apartment/guesthouse by 10:00 a.m. with all personal belongings, and return the key as agreed upon during check-in.

Late check-out may be possible—if no new guests are arriving that day—by prior arrangement.

2. Room Keys

Upon arrival, guests will receive an apartment and house key. In the event of loss, a compensation fee of HUF 20,000 will be charged upon departure.

3. Visitors

Only registered guests are permitted to stay at the guesthouses. Hosting visitors without prior arrangement with the operator or owner is strictly prohibited. The operator assumes no liability for any damages or legal penalties caused by unauthorized visitors. The registered guest bears full legal and financial responsibility for any damage or injury caused by such visitors to other guests, third parties, or the operator.

Children under the age of 14 may only stay at the guesthouse under the continuous supervision of a parent or another legally responsible adult. Accompanying adults are responsible for the safety of the child and any damage they may cause. Children under 14 may only use the services of the guesthouse if accompanied by a responsible adult.

4. Safety

For the safety of your valuables, please keep the gate and apartment doors locked at all times.

A fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen. In case of fire, after notifying the fire department, guests must immediately call +36 30 2974354 or +36 20 2438570.

5. Playground Use

The playground in the garden is for children under 12 years of age and may only be used under parental supervision. We accept no liability for accidents occurring during play.

6. Prohibited Items

The following are not allowed on the premises:

  • Corrosive or flammable chemicals or substances as defined by applicable law

  • Fireworks, firecrackers, or their components

  • Waste, environmentally or health-hazardous materials

  • Psychotropic substances

Items brought in without prior written approval from the operator may be removed at the guest's expense. The operator disclaims liability for any damage to such unauthorized items.

Guests are fully liable for any harm or damage caused by unauthorized items to other guests, third parties, or the operator.

7. Personal Electrical Appliances

Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their personal electrical devices and are obligated to compensate for such damage.

8. Guests with Dogs

Dogs are only allowed with prior written permission from the operator or owner. Dogs are only accepted if the entire house is exclusively rented.

Dog owners must:

  • Ensure their dog does not leave the premises unsupervised

  • Accept responsibility for any damage caused by the dog, indoors or outdoors

  • Ensure the dog does not disturb neighbors or cause harm or damage

  • Prevent the dog from soiling the garden

  • Immediately clean up after their dog

A maximum of two dogs may stay at the guesthouse, and only under the constant supervision of their owners.

9. Borrowed Equipment (Cauldron, Grill, Badminton, etc.)

Guests must use borrowed or rented equipment/sports equipment as intended. Guests are liable for any damage resulting from improper use.

By using such equipment, the guest declares they are physically capable, in good health, and knowledgeable in its use, and they do so at their own risk.

The operator is responsible for repairing damage caused by normal use or replacing faulty equipment. Guests must return all equipment in clean condition with all accessories at the agreed time. Failure to return, or returning damaged equipment, will require full compensation for the item's value.

10. Smoking

Our guesthouses are non-smoking. Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes are prohibited in all indoor and outdoor areas, except in designated smoking areas.

11. Respect for Neighbors and the Village

To preserve the peace of our neighbors and the village, the following is prohibited after 10:00 p.m. in the garden:

  • Loud behavior

  • Music or noise-producing activities

  • Loud TV or radio use indoors

At any time, behavior that disturbs others' peace, safety, privacy, or may be considered harassment or intimidation, is strictly prohibited.

Authorized personnel may warn disruptive guests.

  • First warning is free

  • Second and third warnings incur a HUF 5,000 fee each

  • After the third warning, the operator may expel the guest without refund or compensation

The operator disclaims responsibility for any inconvenience caused to others by the guest's behavior.

12. Guesthouse Property and Furnishings

Guests must use all facilities and equipment properly. Any damage from improper use must be compensated for before departure.

Furnishings and equipment may only be removed from the guesthouse with prior written permission from the operator. Rearranging or moving furniture may only be done by the operator or authorized personnel.

Removing any item from the premises without written permission constitutes a criminal offense, and legal action will be taken.

Guests must report any damage or malfunction to the operator. Guests are not authorized to attempt repairs themselves. The operator disclaims liability for any damage resulting from unauthorized repairs.

13. Wifi

Wifi is available free of charge in the guesthouses.

Guests receive the Wifi password upon check-in.
Uninterrupted or constant access is not guaranteed.
The operator is not liable for any direct or indirect damages to guest devices resulting from Wifi use. Use is at the guest's own risk.

14. Parking

The guesthouse provides on-site parking. Please park within the designated area, ensuring space for three cars simultaneously.

15. Lost and Found

Lost items may be handed over to staff, who will log them. Perishable goods, food items, or medication will be destroyed.

Other items will be stored for 10 days. Owners may reclaim them upon proof of identity and reimbursement of any storage costs.

16. Liability of the Guesthouse

The operator is not liable for damage to items brought into the guesthouse by guests.

Guests use facilities and services at their own risk, in accordance with their own physical, mental, and health condition. The operator disclaims all liability for damages caused by inappropriate or unsafe use.

17. Reporting Issues

Please report any malfunction or issue within the guesthouse to the operator immediately.

18. Damages

The operator will seek compensation for any damages caused intentionally or by negligence.
